1946 - 1954 - Start-up Stage - For realization of ideals, clearly expressed in the corporate name "RISO"

Sep., 1946    …   Founder Noboru Hayama established mimeograph printing
                            company, "Riso-sha"

Sep., 1948    …   Changed company name to "Riso Printing Company" and opened mimeograph print
                            shop in Nihonbashi ,Tokyo

Mar., 1952    …   Started a typed-character print service with the first electric typewriters and printing
                            machines that landed in Japan,which were personally imported from the United
                            Kingdom

Jun., 1954    …   Developed and launched Japan's first emulsion ink, RISO INK

1955 - 1974- The 1st Growing Stage - Success through honesty and creativity

Jan., 1955    …   Reorganized company and changed company name to "Riso Science Laboratory
                            Limited"

Dec., 1958    …   Launched mimeograph printing device RISO-Graph

Jan., 1963    …   Company incorporated under new name "RISO KAGAKU CORPORATION"

Jul.-Aug., 1965    …   Completed Kasumigaura Plant and starts production there

May., 1967    …   Launched thermal stencil master making device RISO FAX JF-7

Aug., 1968    …   Moved the head office to the building facing the Shinbashi railway station

May., 1969    …   Launched RISO FAX JF-8

Jun., 1969    …   Opened local sales offices in major domestic cities, such as Sapporo, Sendai, Nagoya,
                            Osaka, Hiroshima and Fukuoka, to extend the sales territories all over Japan

May., 1972    …   Launched thermal transfer OHP film printer RISO TRAPEN-UP TU-230 and
                           RISO OHP 750


Feb., 1974    …   Launched RISO XENOFAX FX-150 and RISO XENO MASTER
