Notice regarding radio wave emissions of ComColor series

RISO KAGAKU CORPORATION announced that some units of its full-color inkjet printers, the ComColor series, had a possibility to emit radio waves which exceed its quality control criterion.

Relevant Products

Part of the ComColor units (9050 / 7050 / 7010 / 3050 / 3010) produced between June 2009 and February 2010.

Relevant Products

The quality control criterion on radio waves for the ComColor series is "Less than 30dB uv/m (100 - 200MHz) when measured at a distance of 10m from the machine".
However, it was found that some units of the ComColor series emitted radio waves which exceed the above criterion.

Measures

The measures for solution may differ depending on the region. Our dealer will contact each customer who uses relevant products.

RISO will make sincere efforts to prevent any recurrence of similar incidents by revising its quality management process.
