RISO launched the RISOGRAPH RC Series, a digital duplicator with improved usability. In previous such devices, originals had to be in sheet form. From this generation, for the first time, thick-paper originals and booklets could be used. Print quality also became sharper, enabling higher-resolution printing of originals containing photographs.
