RISO and EFI partner to bring new products to market
RISO KAGAKU CORPORATION (RISO) is set to offer the ComColorExpress FS2000C, a Fiery digital front end developed by EFI, for the high-speed full-color inkjet printer ComColor GD series. RISO will launch the ComColor GD series and ComColorExpress FS2000C worldwide in stages from the end of 2016.
The ComColorExpress FS2000C leverages the full potential of the ComColor printer, bringing greater efficiency and flexibility to printing operations. In addition to supporting a wide variety of needs, such as variable data printing operations that are vital to direct marketing, the ComColorExpress FS2000C maximizes the performance of the ComColor so that users can meet the diversified business demands of high-mix, short-run printing with quick turnaround. With its combination of advanced raster image processor (RIP) technology and a wide selection of printing functions, the ComColorExpress FS2000C offers a powerful production printing solution that dramatically expands users' business possibilities.
High-speed output with the ComColorExpress FS2000C will be demonstrated at drupa 2016 to be held in Dusseldorf, Germany from May 31 through June 10.
