Unrivaled Productivity

Significantly boosts overall workflow efficiency

Breaking world records once again, the GN series achieves 180 ppm. Beyond printing, accelerated scanning and copying capabilities deliver unrivaled productivity for high-volume jobs. We have also optimized startup, cleaning, and sleep recovery times to maximize hourly output. With a first print time of 5 seconds or less, it handles even short-run jobs with speed.

RISO ComColor GN Series Speed Specifications: Print Speed - GN9830 180 ppm (Simplex/Duplex), GN7630 160 ppm (Simplex/Duplex); Scan Speed - Simplex 135 ipm, Duplex 200 ipm; Copy Speed - Simplex 135 ppm, Duplex 180 ppm

Time Required to Print 1,000 Pages (A4 Full Color Simplex/Duplex): RISO ComColor GN9830 takes approx. 5 min. 30 sec. compared to 16 min. 40 sec. for a Standard Office Printer (60 ppm). Hourly Print Output is approx. 10,000 pages/hour

Values above are based on A4 long-edge feed. Duplex copy speed shown is for GN9830; GN7630 speed is 160 ppm.

Optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

Economical and Ecological Full-Color Printing

Achieve total cost reduction through three key technologies

Optimized Output

RISO's unique color profile intelligently adjusts image processing for any media or usage.

Reduced Workload

Intuitive operation streamlines printing tasks, cutting operational costs.

Energy Efficiency

The printer excels in low energy consumption per page, saving energy even in high-volume runs.

Print Quality

New ink formulation for richer, vivid finishes

Higher ink density delivers more vibrant color reproduction. Furthermore, an improved paper transport mechanism enhances stability and precise ink placement, achieving a superior level of print quality.

Use the printer driver to easily select the best image settings for your specific application, or choose options to boost color vibrancy for impactful results.

Advantages of Oil-based Pigment Ink

Combines inkjet technology with proprietary oil-based pigment ink to ensure flat output with minimal paper deformation. The cold (heatless) printing process prevents paper curling, ensuring smooth stacking and reliable post-processing such as collating and binding.

Image formation process

Quick-drying oil. Surface-set pigment.

Water penetrates. Must evaporate.

Toner melts with heat. Fuses with pressure.
Impact on paper

Heatless drying prevents stress. Paper stays flat even with high ink coverage.

Paper absorbs water and tends to deform. Requires time or heat to dry, often causing curling with high ink coverage.

Heat and pressure fusing tends to deform paper.
Print Durability High water and rub resistance. Prone to bleeding and marker smearing. Water resistant. Toner may crack when folded.
Reliability & Safety Print head is resistant to drying. Color unaffected by temp/humidity. No ozone emissions. No high-heat parts. Heads prone to drying. Color unaffected by temp/humidity. No ozone emissions. High-heat parts in some models. Color affected by temp/humidity; requires calibration. Emits ozone. Contains high-heat parts.
