Advanced Inkjet Print Heads

In-Line Single-Pass Architecture

Stationary print heads span the entire page width, enabling high-speed printing as paper feeds through continuously. By eliminating lateral head movement, this architecture delivers rapid output and exceptional productivity.

Direct Nozzle Circulation System

This advanced system circulates ink directly above the nozzles, preventing pigment from settling. This continuous, streamlined flow efficiently expels air bubbles, drastically reducing clogging to ensure smooth and reliable ink ejection.

Multi-Drop Technology for Smooth Gradations

By varying dot sizes using advanced multi-drop technology, the printer achieves exceptional mid-tone expressions. This allows for beautifully smooth image reproduction with minimal graininess, delivering consistently high-quality results from light to dark areas.

Precise Paper Feeding Mechanism

Sensors constantly monitor belt speed and paper status, transmitting real-time position data to the print heads. This precise synchronization ensures highly accurate print positioning, delivering stable, high-speed output at 180 ppm.

Proprietary Oil-Based Pigment Ink

Our unique oil-based pigment ink dries instantly, preventing paper staining and curling even at high speeds. This enables high-speed duplex printing, a challenge for conventional inkjets. The ink offers excellent light and water resistance, preventing fading and bleeding. Furthermore, unlike water-based alternatives, our ink resists drying on the print head. This eliminates the need for a complex capping mechanism, resulting in a streamlined, clog-free architecture that maximizes reliability.

NEW TECHNOLOGY

ENGINEERED WITHOUT COMPROMISE

Innovative Airflow Control for Superior Image Sharpness

Strong suction is essential for high-speed paper transport, but the resulting airflow can disturb ink droplet trajectory. To solve this, RISO developed innovative airflow control technology. By increasing suction power and optimizing the airflow path, this system balances powerful suction for flat paper transport with stable airflow for precise ink landing.

This precise control minimizes the impact of airflow on droplet placement. As a result, image sharpness is significantly improved, ensuring crisp, clear edges perfectly suited for intricate barcodes and fine text.

Adjustable Head Gap for Expanded Media Compatibility

To accommodate a wider variety of paper thicknesses, RISO developed a highly flexible head gap adjustment mechanism. Building upon precise automatic settings, this feature empowers operators to easily fine-tune the gap for specific media, such as thick envelopes, ensuring high-quality results without paper jams or smudging.

RISO-AI Predictive Diagnostic System

Maximize your uptime with RISO-AI. Acting as your virtual technician, it monitors paper dust levels and automatically optimizes sensor sensitivity to prevent reading errors. Furthermore, it learns your paper feed patterns and autonomously adjusts the tray position to stop double-feeding before it happens. RISO is dedicated to proactive maintenance, supporting the stable operation of your business.
